I"ll catch up with points tomorrow. Headlines are that Deeb won #49, a Stud event, and we had a couple of others in the cash.  #50 has just nine left and we have Niall Farrell, the chip leader. Three of the current top four are British.

Seventeen left in #51, not much going on for us.

In event 48 i have collect 2 points (volpe and Mercier) i see in ranking only 1 point;)

The event was won by Safiya Umerova. After no female winners until #46, we have two in three days. Umerova has only been playing poker a short time and is in her first WSOP, but is aiming high "I want to have the most gold bracelets anyone has ever had." So that"s one down, just fourteen to go.

No, actually. I copied the result from #49 and edited it, and missed changing Idema to Hastings, but the points are correct, ie they went to the Hastings-pickers.

Chris Ferguson, Steve Sung and Greg Raymer all made the top 35 of this mass event and Loni Harwood was sixth.

Lee Mulligan scored for APAT.

Best names - Yang Zhang, Chun Chen, Brent Hart and my favourite, Gang Wang.

The winner, Hung Le, was playing his first WSOP tournament and this was his first ever cash of any kind, not just WSOP.

The bracelet photo was missing the usual doughnut of cynical pro players. This was more like a family day out.
