Well my friends and fellow apat"ers after a 6 1/2 month recruitment process I finally got confirmation today that i got into Strathclyde Fire and Rescue Service as a full time firefighter!
Im absolutely over the moon! As i mentioned in my profile i currently work as an Architectural Technician but decided that office life isn"t for me and it was time to make a change.
I start my 12 week trainin course in 4 weeks, following which i will be a probationary firefighter for two years, im sooo excited and looking forward to the challenge.
Just wanted to share my good news, catch you all online at the main event on sat.
