7s Jd 8d 3d

Around 4.5k in the middle

3 players in.

There"s been some betting and Chris Webber has a bet of 2.8k in front of him.
Clare Duffy tanks and makes the call. That brings a fold from the 3rd player and Chris and Duffy go heads up to the river.

The river is 4h

Chris asks Duffy how much she has left, then announces all in.

Duffy thinks for a bit and then says "nope" and folds.

Chris shows me his cards...I"m not sure he wants me to record them...I"m not sure Duffy does either...

Clare Duffy has exited the tournament "twos never lose!". Unfortunately they are up against the 3"s of Tristan Chaplin. And they do lose this time.

Clare Duffy

Laura Rhoden:

"I had Ace Queen against five six and nine seven and didn"t win, sums up my tournament"

And she heads to the rail with Duffy...Ladies down!

Phil Evans makes a quiet exit also.

Charlie Deluchi has fallen foul to Tod Wood - Charlie"s Ace King was no match for Tod"s pocket 9"sand he is sent to the rail...or the bar...or the cash table.

Gareth Smith moves all in pre flop.

Wynne Gibson makes the call.

Lewis Archer re-raises all in and Wynne, again, makes the call!

Gareth has 9h 10s
Wynne turns over Kc Ks
Lewis has 9d 9c

Gareth is at risk to both and Wynne has both covered...

8d 5s 6d 10d Kh

Wynne knocks both players out in dramatic style.

Alan Vinnicombe on Shirley Cole: "She has the patience of a nun!"

She is staying strong and is slowly working on increasing her stack...she has gone from 3k to 5k and has determination on her face...

Marc Morris raises from the cut off to 1600

Jack Hipkiss pushes the rest of his stack over the line - 7700

Marc makes the call and turns over Ah Jh

Jack shouts at Tod and turns over Jc 6d (of course)

The board is standard - 9d Qc 4c 7h 3h

No help for Jack and he exits the tournament - with a much less pleasant call to Tod...

Note: Jack has had THREE full orbit penalties this tournament...3...

John Murray open shoves from mid position for around 5k.

He gets a call from Martin Wilson with a similar stack.

Everyone else folds and the cards go over.

It"s 5c 5s for John and Ac 3c for Martin.

Qh Jc 7d flop, John looking good to double.

A s on the turn puts Martin in the lead and John"s tournament life at risk...

8d on the river and John is sent to the rail.

Jack is a very nice guy. Has been very helpful and taken a tonne of photos (that I"ve uploaded to the APAT fb group). His 3 penalties were for acting out of turn. Nothing more than that.
