Tony Murphy gets his stack in, around 35k, with Qs 9s
Edward Kelly, in the big blind, makes the call with Kh 3s

5s 7d 6s flop gets Tony very excited! Spades, straight opportunities...

3c on the turn puts Edward further ahead...

Ad river and Tony"s luck has ended, he finishes in 17th place for €370.

Ruaidhri Finnegan gets a much needed double up.

He pushes 93k and is called by Emmet Davis.

Emmet has 9h 4d
Ruaidhri shows Ah Ks

Ad 8c 6h 3d 7d

Ruaidhri up to around 190k

Defending champion, Robert Blaauwgeers, moves all in for around 150k

It folds to Thibault Fournier who makes the call.

Thibault has 10s 10h and has Robert covered.
Robert has A s 7s

4d Qs 10 flop hits Thibault hard and leaves Robert wanting.

9d turn leaves Robert drawing dead and the "too little, too late" Ac on the river sees our defending champion"s journey end in 16th place, collecting €370.

It folds to Emmet Davis on the button and he moves all in.

Rauidhri Finnegan in the small blind makes the call.

Emmet"s Ah 6d dominating Raudhri"s Kc Jh and the board of 6h 10s 4c 9c 7h doesn"t change that.

Rauidhri goes to leave the table, he thinks he"s out! The dealer confirms he has just shy of 40k left!

Blinds 8k/16k/2k average around 500k

Audrey SHEARDOWN UTG+1 pushes all in for around 150k and gets it through taking the blinds and antes for 38k

Next hand Audrey Sheardown UTG pushes all in... and is called by Jerome Coquelle

Audrey comfortably ahead with Ad 10h against teh Ah 9s of Jerome

But a flop 6d 2s 9c brings a dejected Audrey, and with a Turn 8c.... but River 10c... Audrey again starts ahead, goes behind on a flop but takes the pot on the River...

and we lose Jerome in 14th spot

Martin Goul pushes all of her chips into the middle with 8s 8c and Danny Opthof makes the call with Ks 10d

Ac 7c Kd on the flop and Martine is reduced to needing one of the two remaining 8"s to survive...

4d turn, no help.

6h river and Martine finishes in 13th place for €460.

With Martine"s exit, Audrey Sheardown is last woman standing!
She won her place here at the Irish Amateur Poker Championships by winning the Live Pub Poker League National Championships back in March.
She originally won a package to Vegas, but was unable to make the dates and so she decided to swap it to include this event instead - and that is looking like a great decision as she is one of 12 left and has around 250k!!

Big hand between Danny Opthof and Thibault Fournier.

Danny makes a raise, Thibault re raises, Danny ships and they end up with all their chips in the middle.
Thibault is at risk but ahead with Qh Qs to Danny"s Ad Qd

Case Qc on the flop extends Thibault"s lead with 2s 7s

3s turn seals Thibault"s win and the 7c to give him the house on the river, just to be sure.

Thibault now around 900k
Danny still with around 500k left.

with around 240k in the pot and a board of

Ah 6h 9d 10c Ac

Emmet Davis and Michael Sheriff have been betting throughout the streets culminating with Emmet betting around 130k on the river.

Michael re raises all in.

Emmet thinks for a moment and announces call.

He shows A s Qh

Michael knocks the table and says nice hand. The dealer explains he must show his hand. He shows Kd Jd

Emmet now has around 1.2 million of the 6 million chips in play with 12 players remaining.

Edward Kelly makes a move for 161k and is quickly called by Emmet Davis.

Edward gas 8h 8c
Emmet has A s Qc

Edward is at risk but ahead, can he hold?

Qs 9s 6s flop!! 8"s no good now against the pair of queens for Emmet and he holds the A s

8d turn!! The tables turn with the turn, Edward now ahead if he can fade the spade...

7h river, Edward doubles up!
