GUARANTEE YOUR SEAT IN ADVANCE

Reserve a seat via APAT Eventbrite HERE which will close when all allocated seats are reserved or at 21:00 on Thu 28th Sept latest for Day 1a, and at 21:00 on Fri 29th Sept latest for Day 1b.

Clarification on the APAT Eventbrite facility is available HERE, and ALL players who reserve a seat must register in person, and pay the FULL buy-in and reg fee, at the venue poker room cash desk AT THE LATEST 30 MINUTES BEFORE THE EVENT START TIME - otherwise the seat will be freed up AT THIS TIME.

Download the software for APAT/Grosvenor HERE

WILL BE OPEN WEEK COMMENCING MONDAY 11 SEPT 2017

ALL players bought-in in advance either via the APAT/Grosvenor Online Holding tank or via APAT (eg Online Satellite token/Added Value), will have their chips put into play at the start of the event and, if not seated, will be blinded out from the start - you DO NOT need to register in the venue prior to the event start - APAT will provide your name to the venue and register you into the event - so just turn up and take your seat (even if late arriving) - any player who registers and buys in at the venue will also have chips put into play at the start if they are not seated.

If you register online via the holding tank, and subsequently do not de-register online before the holding tank closes, or you purchase an entry via Main Event Travel, and subsequently you are unable to use your seat, then you need to use the APAT Seat Exchange facility HERE to off-load your seat.

ON THE DAY

Players can buy-in at the venue for available seats on a first-come-first-served basis, for events THAT DAY, from 1 hour prior to the first APAT event start time that day.

Players who have registered for an event, but are placed on the Alternates list, will be offered a seat as it becomes available.

EVENT REGISTRATION

You are advised to turn up well in advance to complete event registration, including allowing time to join as a member if needed.

ALL event registration for a particular day will open in the venue 1 hour prior to the first APAT event that day (so at 17:00 on Fri, 13:30 on Sat and 12:00 on Sunday) for those NOT bought-in in full in advance and is on a strictly first-come-first-served basis.

For those who have reserved a seat for the Main Event in advance via the APAT Eventbrite facility, they are reminded they need to register in person and pay the full buyin/reg fee AT LEAST 30 minutes before the event start time, when AT THIS TIME all unclaimed reserved seats will be freed up.

Players may leave the venue after registering for an event but we encourage you to be back and seated by 5 minutes prior to the event advertised start time.  However, it is not obligatory to be in your seat at the start of the events and if not chips will be put into play, and remain in play, and you will be blinded out.

Live Updates

A live report update/blog will be provided on the Main Event throughout Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as will alive stream.

Terms and Conditions

Please note the event is subject to the terms & conditions of the Amateur Poker Association & Tour.

All events are subject to APAT/Venue discretion on the day, and structures/levels may be altered and timings changed if viewed in the best interests of the event.

Cancellations

Once a seat has been purchased, and if plans change, then players need to utilise the APAT Seat Exchange within the APAT Forum HERE to trade their seat at the face value.  Seat Exchange Guidelines HERE apply.

Finally As a member of the Amateur Poker Association and Tour, we would like you to be aware of your expected role in our collective responsibility to ensure that the weekend is memorable and enjoyable for not only every participant - but for everyone involved within the venue.  We would appreciate you doing your bit to ensure that everyone comes away having had the best possible poker experience with APAT.

The best of luck to everyone playing over the weekend of events.

Tom - I cannot see any of the side events on Grosvenor? I assumed you were not allowing pre-reg.

You are correct.

PLO reg starts (in person) 1 hour before the ME on Friday...so 5pm.

* But you could have work in Tom's ear in the pub earlier...it's been known to work :)

I suspect he'll be in the Cardiff Bay Tavern with the rest of us mid-afternoon.... just saying!
