If I register via Grosvenor casino what do I need to do on the day at the registration desk? Give them my APAT name from off here or my Grosvenor casino name?.

Brian, I presume you mean via the Grosvenor Online Holding Tank?  If so, then we will register you in advance and transfer your buyin to the venue in advance - therefore you do NOT need to turn up early to do either of these.

We do request that players be ready to take their seat 5 mins before the start of each event, however, for those who reg/buyin via the Grosvenor Online Holding Tanks, they do NOT need to turn up to reg/buyin at the venue... we will have sorted all that for you and you will automatically be included in the table/seat draw - so simply turn up and take your seat.

If you arrive AFTER the start of the event, your chips will automatically be put into play and be blinded off.

Planning on coming from Canada but want to be sure I'll be able to play.
Any way of sending buyins directly to Gosvenor Casino prior to leaving for the UK?
If not, can I register for the whole series at the casino prior to the 31st?
If not, can I register for the whole series at the casino on the 31st?
If not, must I register each day and hope the tournament isn't already sold out?

Hi Dave, we look forward to welcoming you to WCOAP mate...

I think your best options are:

'reserve' seats for every event via APAT Eventbrite (has a small additional charge which pays for the APAT updates/blog reports all week) and this guarantees you a seat in every event you reserve for up until 30 mins prior to event start time

'buy in' via Grosvenor Online Holding Tanks - But I presume you can't whilst in Canada, so if desired you could transfer your buyins direct to myself and I will include this with the Holding Tank registrations

Waiting until the day is possible as we will not sell all seats in advance, but the risk is that an event sells out before you register on the day

Thanks for the info. I can't find the WCOAP 2018 on Eventbrite but I guess it's too soon. I'll keep looking for it.

A work in progress Dave, work in progress... just got Day 1 in there so far... :)

However, if you search on 'apat' it should come up ...

Tom , PLO double chance , could I please clarify ?
Is this half stack to begin with and then the second half is available at any time or when knocked out ... or in this instance does it mean one rebuy is available ? Sorry to ask but I think it could be any of these :-)

Hi Nev, everyone sits down with 10k and MAY immediately request the 2nd 10k stack (before the first hand from the dealer).... the 2nd 10k stack may be taken at any time up until the first break - if a player has not taken this 2nd stack by the time of the first break, it is given to them at this time.  If a player 'busts' his '1st' stack at any time before the first break, they are immediately given their 2nd stack.

No additional buy-in is made for the 2nd 10k stack.

I've registered using Eventbrite. Couple of questions:
I've registered for "ROE (NLHE/PLO)". I assume this is a 5-game mix of R + O + E + NLHE + PLO?
I passed on "Mixed Game Max". What is this?
Do I need to bring my Eventbrite tickets or just show my ID when I arrive?

Thanks. Should be fun.

Looks like I messed up with ROE! Is your 8-Game = FL27 + HORSE + NLHE + PLO?
Still don't have any replies to my other 2 questions:
What is "Mixed Game Max"?
Do I need to bring my Eventbrite receipt to the tournaments or just my ID?
