APAT UK Team Championship Feb 2018 Details

Ladies & Gents, confirmation of details for the UK Team Championship is below - questions/comments etc on the weekend of events should be sent by PM to myself via HERE

ALL Side Events are open to ANY poker player, and registration will take place at the POKER ROOM DESK, and will open a minimum 1 hour prior to each event start time.

APAT SEASON 11 IN ASSOCIATION WITH GROSVENOR - UK TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP, 3RD-4TH FEB 2018

The UK Team Championship will take place at Grosvenor Casino, Blackpool on Saturday 3rd/Sunday 4th Feb 2018.

We look forward to hosting all those playing over the weekend, with a full schedule of side events, and we will be providing a full player tracking and ongoing team score updating service, a live update/blog with pictures via the APAT Forum and Facebook/Twitter and a live stream of Day 2 of the Main Event.

The table draw/seating plan will be available via the APAT Forum from 9pm on Sunday 21st January.

All players must be a member of Grosvenor Casinos, which is free, and photo ID is needed.  If you are already a member of Grosvenor Casinos then you should bring your membership card to allow use of a fast track entry available (players swipe their card and there is no need to be manually signed in at the desk). If not a member of Grosvenor Casinos, it is necessary to bring either your driving licence or passport otherwise you risk not being allowed into the casino.

Smart Casual dress is required - no tracksuits, and only tailored shirts, not sports wear.  Hoodies/sunnies/hats are ok.

LIMITED free parking is available at the casino.  Limited parking is also available with Travelodge (nearby) at £8 per 24 hours with a code from reception, Osborne Road Car Park (adjacent to Travelodge) at £8 per 24 hours or, free parking is available on both roads either side of Travelodge - Osborne Road and Balmoral Road.

The casino is open 24/7, with live gaming and cash desk closed between 6am-12pm everyday, but everything else is still open.

The Poker Room will be open and manned from 1 hour prior to the first event of the day (and closes at 6am):

Fri - from 5pm
Sat - from 1:30pm
Sun - from 11am

HOWEVER, ON SATURDAY FROM 12:30 ALL TEAM PHOTOS WILL BE TAKEN BEFORE THE START OF THE EVENT - PLEASE THEREFORE ARRIVE AT 12:30 OR ASAP THEREAFTER TO ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN AND TO ENSURE THE EVENT STARTS ON TIME - IT DOES USUALLY TAKE AROUND 2 HOURS - SO PLEASE DO ARRIVE EARLY SO WE DON'T DELAY THE START

APAT Weekend Schedule Of Events

Players are NOT required to register for the Main Event at the venue - we will have pre-registered all players and the table draw / seating plan will be completed in advance and available as above - therefore, all players' chip stacks will go into play at the start of the event, whether you are in your seat or not, and when not in your seat you will be blinded out accordingly.

However, we ask that you please be seated 5 minutes prior to the event advertised start time, which is 14:30.

No player is allowed to multi-table, nor register for a '2nd' event whilst still in an event.

The weekend schedule of events is as follows:

Feb 2, Fri 18:00 PLO £33+£7 - 15k/20 mins (2 hour late reg - 1 re-entry allowed) (est max 60) (est end 02:00)
Feb 2, Fri 20:00 NLHE £33+£7 - 10k/20 mins (1 hour late reg - 1 re-entry allowed) (est max 110) (est end 03:00)

Feb 3, Sat 14:30 UK Team Championship (NLHE) Day 1 £75+£7 - 15k/45 mins (Freezeout) (12 levels est end 01:00)
Feb 3, Sat 20:00 NLHE £33+£7 - 10k/20 mins (2 hour late reg - 1 re-entry allowed) (est max 60) (est end 03:00)

Feb 4, Sun 12:00 UK Team Championship (NLHE) Day 2 (est max 70) (est end 23:00)
Feb 4, Sun 13:00 Mix Max £33+£7 - 15k/20 mins (2 hour late reg - 1 re-entry allowed) (est max 60) (est end 02:00)
Feb 4, Sun 16:00 PLO8 £33+£7 - 10k/20 mins (2 hour late reg - 1 re-entry allowed) (est max 40) (est end 02:00)

The Main Event structure can be found HERE, although 12 levels will be played on Day 1 - ending around 01:00    

Prizes

The winner(s) of the Main Event, the UK Team Championship, will be:

Team - highest combined scores from all team member finishing positions in top 140 (1st = 140 pts, 140th = 1 pt)

Individual - finishing position

The Top 3 Teams and Top 18 Individuals will be paid on a 50/50 split of buyins as follows:

Top 3 Teams (50% of buyins = £10,500) - 1st=£5,250 - 2nd=£3,150, 3rd=£2,100 - payouts will be made to Team Captains.

The default APAT prize structure (individual) can be found HERE = £10,500 - payouts will be made to winning individuals.

This event awards APAT Medals - top 3 teams and top 3 individuals - and APAT POTY Points (Top 18).

All APAT side events also award APAT POTY Points (Top 5).

APAT Main Events do NOT allow deals to be made, and Side Event deals are only allowed under the control of the venue/APAT.

The individual winner of the UK Team Championship will win an "added value" GUKPT Main Event live seat worth £560.

Live Updates

A live update/blog and live stream will be provided on the Main Event with player pictures, chip counts and "team leaderboard" throughout the weekend.

Feel free to tell your friends and family, who can follow your progress on the APAT forum - guests will need to register as a member on the forum to see pictures from the event and to post on the forum - member registration is free.
