WCOAP 2018 Spotlight - NLHE Survivor Shootout (Thu 8pm)
« on: February 26, 2018, 18:39:57 PM »
You can find the full WCOAP 2018 schedule HERE

The NLHE Survivor Shootout Championship will take place as follows:

#23 Thu 5th April 2018 20:00 £50+£7 estimated capacity 8 x 10-handed tables (80 players)
10k stack - 20 min clock
Late Entry 20:05 (02:30 estimated completion)

The event will play NLHE throughout, with a first round of STTs and the winner of each STT qualifying through to the 'Final Table 8' STT.

For each round, at the end of every level, the player on each table with the least amount of chips will be eliminated (and their chips immediately removed from the event) UNLESS a player has already been eliminated during that level OR the 'quota' of players for the end of that level have already been eliminated - the 'quota' is 1 player per round.

EG:

end of Level 1: no players eliminated so far, then the player with the least amount of chips will be eliminated
end of Level 1: 1 or more players have been eliminated already, then no players will be automatically eliminated

end of Level 2: 1 player has been eliminated so far, then the player with the least amount of chips will be eliminated
end of Level 2: 2 or more players have been eliminated already, then no players will be automatically eliminated

end of Level 3: 2 players have been eliminated so far, then the player with the least amount of chips will be eliminated
end of Level 3: 3 or more players have been eliminated already, then no players will be automatically eliminated

end of Level 4: 3 players have been eliminated so far, then the player with the least amount of chips will be eliminated
end of Level 4: 4 or more players have been eliminated already, then no players will be automatically eliminated

end of Level 5: 4 players have been eliminated so far, then the player with the least amount of chips will be eliminated
end of Level 5: 5 or more players have been eliminated already, then no players will be automatically eliminated

end of Level 6: 5 players have been eliminated so far, then the player with the least amount of chips will be eliminated
end of Level 6: 6 or more players have been eliminated already, then no players will be automatically eliminated

end of Level 7: 6 players have been eliminated so far, then the player with the least amount of chips will be eliminated
end of Level 7: 7 or more players have been eliminated already, then no players will be automatically eliminated

end of Level 8: 7 players have been eliminated so far, then the player with the least amount of chips will be eliminated
end of Level 8: 8 or more players have been eliminated already, then no players will be automatically eliminated

end of Level 9: 8 players have been eliminated so far, then the player with the least amount of chips will be eliminated

This event will also have a '15 second' shot clock... the 15 seconds will be controlled by the dealer and the dealer will warn any player as their decision time approaches the 15 second limit by announcing 5 seconds when 5 seconds remain, then count down 3, 2, 1... and announce fold or hand dead etc... the 'timings' controlled by the dealer will not use a physical clock but be 'mentally' managed similar to the recent APAT 15/15 held in Reading... and the dealer decision is absolutely binding regarding this (in the event of any close decision regarding a hand being folded, the discretion of the dealer will be towards the hand remaining live... ie if the player acts at the same time as the dealer says fold etc (or VERY close to it) then dealers are advised that action should be on the side of the player's hand remaining live.
