Disconnects can happen on any network as we know, but the flash based application is actually extremely stable.  Just a shame that some of the dynamos of the Scottish APAT scene don"t appear to have the game to qualify through to the Maybury  ;D

For all those struggling with Sky Poker - what browser are you using?  I play using Firefox and have never (insta-bok probably) had a a problem with it.

When I said the flash app was extremely stable Ross, it was from a position of knowing that what I said was the case.

Over 8,000 players play every day at Sky Poker and the company offers a good value live tour, in addition to the only dedicated poker channel in the UK.  I will declare; as some of you already know, that I have changed roles at Sky in the last few weeks to become the Head of the Sky Poker business & channel, and some of the programming and product developments scheduled are very exciting.

So by all means state your views, but don"t state them as defacto for everyone, because that is unreasonable imo.

Before anyone asks, this does not impact APAT's position with Blue Square or any third party poker operator.

The normal business of belittling our Scottish players can now resume  ;)

Good response  8), no offense was intended Des and my comment was a bit more tongue in cheek than perhaps it came across as I did know your links to Sky Poker.

Apologies if it you felt i was trying to represent the masses but why do you sensor the words pokerlicious yumminess anyway?  :o

Did you use the magic phrase :-

"You do know that I know Des, don"t you ?"

Although that doesn"t work when they reply with, "Yes, he"s warned us about you".

Firefox user here and no probs either. My gripes with Sky are the fast structures, the inability to resize tables and the sh!te hands that keep sucking out on me.

And oh how I wish I had "the game" along with the patience to drive for two hours and an endless supply of petrol "to qualify through to the Maybury". Cheeky *****!

If like BillyHo you have problems with Sky Poker (or even internet problems whilst you just so happen to be playing there), call Des on his mobile anytime (day or night) on 07*** *** ***.

Will I fill in the blanks above? Let"s wait and see if he slags off the Scots any more!!

The cash games on Sky Poker are very good.  I think the play the presenter is on tonight (might be wrong), and you can play against tikay or Norman Pace.  I bet the waiting lists for those tables are huge!
