There"s a thread on blonde poker about the tournaments on Ladbrokes that run over the course of two evenings. They start at about 8-ish and then play stops at about midnight / 1 o"clock, continuing the following evening at the same time.
This allows for a longer structure, but without the problem of finishing at 5 in the morning if you go deep and then have to get up for work a few hours later.
I don"t play on Ladbrokes, but from what I was reading, they have these tournaments with a $10 and $50 buy-in. So they"re ideal for the recreational player who has a limited bankroll and wants to play a longer structure. I know that some of the big online events play out over a few days, but I hadn"t seen anything similar at the lower level of buy-in.
I was wondering if this is something iPoker could provide, and it would be a good idea for the larger buy-in APAT online events - maybe a monthly or quarterly $100 comp spread over the two evenings?
Just a thought...
