David 'Pokerpops' Amos has had a bit of a rollercoaster already. He lost a small chunk with QQ on a K x J 10 board with villain holding K 10.

He got it back when he called a small raise on the button with A s 9s. Flop has 2 spades on it including Ks

Turn is Js and he gets back to starting stack when Villain bets river holding Qs 10s

Barrie Penman getting involved, he raises to 350 pre flop from mid position. Alan Bowman calls next to him and Pops calls from the button.

The flop is 9d 10h 8c

Barrie bets 650, and both call.

Qh is checked by Barrie. Alan bets 1200.
Pops raises to 2700.

Barrie folds quickly. Alan thinks before folding saying "you've got a Jack"

Pops shows Qs Jd and says he hates the turn and had to raise.

(Barrie (yellow jumper) S1, Alan Bowman S2 and David Amos in the foreground looking content :) )

With blinds at 75/150 and a raise pre, 4 players see a flop of 5s Qd 3h

Bets on the flop leave just Luke Moran and John Clark with their cards in front of them.

9s turn. John bets 6k with 12k behind. Luke ships over the top with a similar stack and John makes the call.

The 2s river already irrelevant as John shows Ad Qs and Luke has Qh Qc

Luke has John covered and John Clark is first to bust, 20 minutes into Level 3.

(Luke Moran)

The board has run out 9s Jh 6c 8d 7s

Craig Holt is all in and has been called by David Darcangelo

Craig has 8c 10d

David shows Qs 10c

Craig Holt is the 2nd to hit the rail.

(David Darcangelo)

All in pre flop this time but almost the same scenario as tonight's first bust - A s Qd for Anthony Drane vs the Qs Qc of Gary Roberts.

2s 8d Qh 9c Jd

Anthony Drane busts 3rd, 5 minutes before the first break.

We reach the first break and a crowd gathers around table 3 with 4 players having cards on their backs and 3 are at risk!

Bryan Tismond has less than 4k and shows Kh 10h

Stephen Luke has less than 5k and is holding 5c 6c

Mark Burton has around 10k and shows 4h 4c

Xenophon Constaninou has them all covered and shows A s 4s

4d first card in the window!

9c 3d 8c Qd

Mark Burton knocks out Stephen Luke and Bryan Tismond and gets a full double from Xenophon!

Isabel Boyle sitting on 10k at the break is having 'one of those days' and decides that 'going quiet and reading my kindle', although maybe not more productive, will at least be more satisying  :'(

If you don't know of Izzy's poker exploits, check out her Facebook... https://www.facebook.com/isabel.boyle.18

Izzy Boyle puts her Kindle down long enough to turn the nut flush and royal flush draw!

The board is 2d 10d 2c Jd

She ships it all and is called by Garry Roberts holding Js 6d

The river is the 6d. Izzy misses the royal flush but her nut flush remains enough to put her up above starting stack.

There is already about 9k in the middle, blinds are 150/300/300

The board has run to the turn 10h 9s Kh 6s

Alan Bowman bets 1k
David Amos calls as does Terence Allan and Luke Moran.

River is Kd

Alan bets 1k
Dave makes is 3.9k
Terence and Luke fold and Alan makes the call.

He shows Kc 5c
Dave scoops the lot with Ah 5h

Luke Moran raises to 1100.
Barrie Penman makes it 2500.
Scott Finley calls and Luke folds.

8h 5h Qs

Barrie bets 2500 and is called

8c turn Barrie bets 3k. Scott moves all in and Barrie, reluctantly, calls.

Barrie shows Ad A s
Scott has 8c 9s

9d river to rub salt into Barrie's wounds. He is not out, but his stack is crippled.

(Barrie looking rather sporting tonight :) )
