Colin Turnbull puts his last 2.8k across the line pre. Blinds at 300/600/600

Shane Barnes and Benjamin Greatbatch both make the call.

The flop is 8h 7s 2s

Shane checks and folds to Benjamin's ship.

Benjamin has Jc Js and Colin gets to his feet turning Kh 10d

9c turn 6h river. Someone else points out the straight to Colin. He sits back down and, slightly sheepishly, scoops his pot.

Kyle Cook moves all in for 8.9k.
He is called by William McCallum.
Anthony Wailkari makes the call but hasn't realised that William has done the same.

They both check the board down Qh 6h 8c 4s 5c

Kyle, having asked for a "very specific board please, dealer", shows 10d 8s

William shows Ac Kd
Anthony has Kh 10h

Maybe not specific enough, but good enough and Kyle triples up.

David shows A s Kh and sighs when Gary shows 6s 9s

(Gary continues to accumulate chips - stacking em high.. )

Ben Davies is at risk with Ad Js
Keith Bradshaw has Ben covered holding Ah 4c but is at risk to David Sills who shows 8h 8d

Ac 10d 5h 5c A s

Much maths ensues as they work out who wins what with Keith and Ben splitting the pot.

(David Sills - disappointed with his 3-way action :) )

Not many hands later, Di Farrell raises to 2.5k, Gary Kirton ships for his last 6600.

Chris Bane makes the call and Di puts in the difference.

They both check it to the river 4c Qh Ks 6d 9d

Chris mucks when Di shows Kh Jh but it is the Qs 9c for Gary that sees him triple up.

(Di Farrell visiting from USA... with a visit to APAT Malta on the cards as well :) )

Terence Allan is all in and at risk to Darren Turnbull.

Terence is hoping his Ad 8c can come from behind to keep him in the game vs Darren's Ac 10c

Kc 6s Js 2d 10d

Terence's hopes are dashed and he busts as we head towards the end of the last level of Day 1a.
