Kenny,

The obvious question here is why would you ever want to use anyone other than Blue Square for your online experience ?

(Right, that"s the sponsors bit over)

What are you looking for, Cash/STT/MTT, Soft/Strong players, Volume of traffic ?, Added value.

I"m sure if you answer those questions, then you will get some suggestions as to sites to try.  Obviously with the comment, "well if you must try other sites than Blue Square" added for good measure.

;D

Oh, and this doesn"t need to turn into a "reasons why I don"t like Blue Square" from the usual suspects.  I think that we"ve covered that many times before.

well play mainly on full tilt these day. I like site who offer rake back, as play lot cash games. but also like to have good guarantees for multi table events so can make some decent cashes.

As some of the other responses have already alluded to, my suggestions for which sites to try depend very much on what floats your boat, but my recommendations are as follows:

MTTs - For range of available games I"d suggest Full Tilt or Pokerstars although these are by no means beginner"s sites as the standard of play, particularly at lower buy-ins, is significantly higher than on some other sites i"ll mention. Ladbrokes also do some good deepstack holdem tournaments at various levels.
SNGs - Either Pokerstars or Betfair. The former because the number of site users means you"ll never have to wait long for a game and the structure allows for a certain amount of "real" poker before everyone starts playing all-in or fold. The latter because the overall standard of player is poor, so in theory its easier to make money.
Hold'em cash - Betfair again because the standard of play when compared to other sites at similar buy-ins is poor.
7 card Stud cash. Partypoker and Pokerstars stand out here because their antes/bring ins are lower than other sites. Partypoker has the "Fishier" players, but Pokerstars is more reliable in terms of there always being a game available at your chosen level
When season three kicks off, I can highly recommend playing in the APAT tournaments on Bluesquare. The overall standard of play is pretty decent, but the games are always played in a good spirit and sometimes the banter makes it worth the cost of the buy in.

I"m also looking to play on a new site and looking for suggestions. I play mostly on Full Tilt & Stars (and Blue Sq for APAT events)...

I"m looking for somewhere for everything - cash/stt/mtt ...

I heard some sites offer rakeback on STT SnG"s , I heard something about getting $0.25-$0.30 back on ever $1 you pay in juice to the sites - this would definitely interest me if it"s true...

I"m mostly looking for MTT"s with added value (ie - not meeting guarentees etc), decent buy ins ($30-$100 range) but with fields not exceeding 500-800 runners - I know this is a weird one but I like playing decent buy in games on Stars etc but hate the fact you"ve gotta face 1,200+ players minimum in their guarenteed tournies and the guarentees are always smashed! I don"t want a site that only gets 50 or 60 runners every tournament but also don"t want to be playing WSOP size fields either.

Another thing that I get scorned for by my poker playing mates is that I simply cannot play somewhere with bad software. Out of all the places i"ve played so far (Stars, Full Tilt, Blue Sq, PKR, Sky Poker, Betfair) I only like the software on Stars and Full Tilt. I really don"t care how much easy money there is on a site - if it doesn"t look good and feel easy to navigate, i"m not playing there :D

Two sites i"ve thought about joining are PartyPoker & Ladbrokes as both look to meet most of my wants/needs - if anyone has got any opinions on either of those two sites or could suggest other sites it"d be much appreciated.

Oh also - does anyone know if there"s any way to get some sort of rakeback scheme from Full Tilt after you"ve registered?

Check raketherake.com about full tilt rake back. They have an enquiry form about getting rake back after you are registered at [link removed]. The did get me rake back at Betfair post registration.

And i think i saw something on thehendonmob.com/forum about getting rake back at full tilt. It might of been as simple as someone asking full tilt but they might of been a serious player. It was in the last 6 months or so.
