Heads up tourney question
« on: August 10, 2007, 11:02:05 AM »
Hi,

I was wondering if the heads up tourney needs an exact amount of runners i.e. 64/128. For example if 135 runners will the last 7 players registered have their stakes returned as I have seen on some sites (Ladbrokes for 1) or will there be random byes to the next round. If anyone could tell me how it works on pokerstars I would be obliged.

Who is favourite for the HU title, who fancies their chances.

I play a lot of headsup, but I am definately not a contender for tonight. Max Ward is apparently good at HU. Anyone else we know of?

You"ve never played me heads up. Just be careful what you wish for.

Yes one person plays against another.  You win, you play someone else who won.

No need to thank me.

straight knockout ala the FA cup

with the first round random byes so that no bye are needed in later rounds

everyone always starts with equal chips in each round

2nd round doesnt start untill 1st round is complete so if you win in 5 hands you could be waiting for over an hour for your next game

i always fancy my chances in any one off HU game but seeing as they will be a number of matches to get through i doubt i will get anywhere near the donger
