APAT Awards 2008

[APAT]

APAT invites nominations for the annual APAT Awards. 

Nominations in the following categories, should be made prior to the end of this month.  APAT will shortlist five nominations for each award and members will be able to vote for their choice of award winner during December.

The award categories are:-

1.    APAT Player Of The Year*

2.    Member Performance At A Non APAT Tournament*

4.    APAT Tournament Of The Year

5.    APAT Casino Location Of The Year

6.    APAT Image Of The Year

7.    APAT Forum Post Of The Year*

8.    Best Supporting Community Of The Year*

9.    Best Online Cardroom Of The Year*

10.  Best Poker Magazine Of The Year*

APAT will also be adding a member to the Hall Of Fame, which is a non voting category.

*Award winners in these categories will receive a paid entry to an APAT National Championship event in Season Three.

Stuart (SirPercival) Oliver who cashed in Irish Championship after being down to 1.5k within the first hour of play (AK on K high flop v AA I think it was). I witnessed it first hand as he was at my table. No Forum reports on this I don"t think.

WCOAP for variety of games and duration of tournament (5 days)

European Amateur Team Championship for camaraderie and variety of games (SnGs, MTTs, heads up)


5.    APAT Casino Location Of The Year

The service and attitude of the staff at Gala Maybury, Edinburgh during Season 2 Regionals and National was quite special. Fully dealer dealt, hot buffet, well ran and consistently well attended.
