I live on the outskirts of Manchester and have been trying to find a good place to try my luck on the live front. I"ve tried grosvenor Salford and a couple of Gala casinos. I wondered where there are other Freezeout tourneys so I may try them.
Was due to try Blackpool last Sunday but it was cancelled.

Any advice on freezeout games would be appreciated.

You could try the G casino in manchester. It has certainly changed its poker emphasis more towards freezeouts and these run on most nights.

If like me however, you are unable to play games that finish around 3-4 am then you can try the £10 freezeouts at the Rileys snooker clubs.(about 3 venues in manchester)

Failing that, there are numerous pub leagues which play games for small stakes.

I have tried the nuts poker league and found it a little tedious playing for points.
I also played at a couple of Rileys halls, most of the opposition are, dare I say it, a little weak. I had many successes there before they had to reduce the payout structure. It used to be £20 buy-in , 40 players MAX and the winner took £320. It made for a worthwhile night out, but since the change in government regulations it dropped to £10 buy-in  25 max and winner takes just over £100.

I have visited G casino in Cheetem Hill on a sunday night and finished 5th.

Anymore suggestions would be appreciated.
