APAT WCOAP Heads Up Championship

Good luck to all members participating this evening.  It will be very interesting to see how members adapt to this style of competition.

I have a quick question.  Will I be able to use that Blue Square software, being in the U.S.?  Also I believe this Heads-Up tourney will produce the best players at the end.

2 minutes into round one, and on a board of 456, I was amazed to see both Ironside and Tolekim put all their chips in the midde......cards revealed to show

Whoever came up with the concept of Heads-Up tourneys needs their bumps felt!!

 :-[ oops - turns out slow playing top pair isn"t a great plan when it allows your opponent to hit his straight.

I went out with 2 pair versus trips - but it was the earlier hand that really damaged me.
