well if its so popular, why dont they extend the field? Even 100 more players is better than 200. and would only need 10 extra dealers.

They"d have to build an extension to the Grosvenor Walsall and they haven"t got time to get planning permission

Big APAT welcome to TT, but I did LOL hard at this...

...and even with an extra 100 runners, the sell out time would probably only extend another minute or so.  :D

..and would make it even harder for Ian to make Day 2  :D

seems odd to me with all the planning that goes into this that you"ve put your 1st event in walsall to coincide with dtd 321 weekend? very odd

How many seats total are there for Walsall (Sats and clickfest inc)?

Total seats available for the clickfest will be 200 minus what goes in the sats - yesterday, today and tomorrow.

I suspect there"ll be around 150+ seats available at Thursdays clickfest, which is more than season 2, due to the Regionals not being in place this season.

I"m sure DTD will get enough runners,

Most probably

and the APAT event will sell out.

Most definitely

I"m sure that other card rooms across the country hold monthly tournaments, and I"m sure there"s something on every weekend.  How does APAT avoid all of these?

Took me months of negotiations with Des to avoid all my Home League dates. Des had no time left to look at dates taken by other tournies......  ;D

Do you realise that all of the APAT National Champions will be unable to take part in two of the APAT World Online events, which clash with the GUKPT Champion of Champions, where you are sending them?

That is correct John, but we are talking about 5 people and the two events you mention is assuming that they all make day two of the Champion of Champions event (granted that is likely as they will be quality APAT players  ;D )

If I had this dilemna, I think I know where I would want to be, and it wouldn"t be sitting at home in front of my PC.   ;D
