It would be great to meet up in Swansea for a live game and it is a good chance to persuade potential new team members to join up. I"m pretty busy in November but December is a good time. Hope we can get something sorted, be nice to see everyone

That makes it a lot more attractive to be fair. Any idea on the structure.

Now loving this thread by the way, Feeling like a team type thread, now lets get a few more players, get our promotion and start our challenge for the first division. If we all arrange to meet up and play a tourny in Swansea we might be able to convince other players. How does December work for you both? My poker calander looks kinda full in November.

Gotta admire the hang-in-there-ability of players on a team where a team message includes the phrase "you both".

But when we build an invincible team and sweep to victory it will be all the more impressive see John.

1.  2 day event, 7pm start on 6th November, 2pm on 7th November
2.  £150+£15 entry
3.  10,000 chip starting stack
4.  40 minute clock
5.  Dealer dealt
6.  Entry includes complimentary buffet

I"m still intending to go, anyone else?

Might actually get opportunity to play in a league match this Sunday for first time since first season so just to get it right in advance my latest Betfair incarnation is holdmnweep (changed from bokor). Good to see Swansea doing so well and congrats to Rodders on his success in the live APATs as well.

I know that APAT needs to look at merging some teams due to lack of interest and Swansea was probably one of them. However I believe this thread shows that there are a few player serious about getting the team up and running. I would hope that Swansea does not end up being merged with another team as Allyson has done a great job this year of getting people playing and we might even be up to five active members soon. This might not sound like many compared to some clubs but given that we didn"t really have any players at the start of the year, Swansea is growing and IF we get promoted to Div 2 this season I think we have proved we should be given the chance to remain.

Thanks Steven, it"s great you can make it for Sunday. I"ll be playing as usual. Hope everyone can play, obviously the more people that turn up  to the matches the better chance Swansea will have of promotion. Soz for the KK Newps.... was hoping to dent Linzi"s stack... still better to keep the chips in the team than let her have em... she"s got more than enough.  Oh... and apols for the radio silence... just cant get my head round chat during the games... nor multi-tabling ... that really does my head in.

thats ok, hitting a full house on the flop and running into quads was difficult to take, i am glad it was to a fellow team member. hope you go onto win it. not happy with my debut performance.
