We did appear to have some really bad luck but onwards and upwards.

It won"t last and when it turns our way, the rest better watch out!!!!!!

GL all in the next one, as I will be away.

Thanks for the support sorry didn"t tid, played the last few haqnds really badly.

Tried to play poker but the structure imo dictates that when you get near the final table it"s either push or fold.

Here"s looking forward to the next one.

Regards,

Shaun

All is not lost yet folks.  Still 18 tourneys to go. I remain confident our Team will overcome the current points disadvantage.

Good luck to all in your various poker ventures.

A reminder that Leg 3 of the National League takes place this Sunday (1st Mar) at 8pm on BlueSquare.

Registration is now open in the Lobby. To find it, click through to the Tournaments / Specials  / APAT tab.

The password is: leaguepl

For Leg 2 the Team had 20 registrants.  I am sure that we can approach (if not exceed) that number for this Sunday"s tourney.  A list of Team registrants will be published closer to the end of registration.

One piece of tactical advice to consider please:
Whilst this is an individual event, it is also a Team event.  Each individual"s contribution is vital to the Team"s chances of qualifying for the final event.  Therefore please use a modicum of judgement when you are actively participating in hands (of dubious strength) against fellow team mates.  Having said that, obvious soft play is unacceptable.

Good luck to all Team participants.

A reminder that Leg 4 of the National League takes place this Sunday (15th Mar) at 8pm on BlueSquare.

Registration is now open in the Lobby. To find it, click through to the Tournaments / Specials  / APAT tab.

The password is: leaguepl

For Leg 3 the Team had 14 registrants.  I am sure that we can approach (if not exceed) that number for this Sunday"s tourney.  I am aware that some people were unhappy with the blinds structure for Leg 3 - please note that an increased 13 minute blinds level clock will be in use for Leg 4.

The increased time for each level is a step in the right direction, but I can"t take part anyway as I"ve got no Broadband at home until 24/03/09
