Yes, went a bit card dead, needed a bit of luck pretty much knew I would be called but thought A 10 would have half a chance against blinds, enjoyed the game though.
I folded 8 8 to a raise and a reraise late on would of trebled up at that point but was up agains 4 overcards they all missed which was a bit of a bummer but you have to get your chips in to win the pot.

Got so card dead at the end, all u want is ace rag, or even a king 10. Best hand i saw was q9.

Never mind, was good, shame i didnt finish higher for the team

Back in 2 weeks, hopefully, we all do better

Regards

John

WP to JohnJ117 who, with his 5th place finish, earned himself 6 points and his Stockton-On-Tees Club 1 point.

Hi Brian - Was gutted to bubble over the weekend but Stu cashed and promised to buy the whole pub an endless supply of beer so this Thursday"s a good day to pop over  ;D
Be great to meet up if you"re coming over. Poker kicks off at 8pm, everyones normally there from 7:45 for a pre game beer, its low low stakes a fiver in but you get a "free" beer token with that with the rest going into the pot which is paid out to the top 3. Normally 30+ there, finishes at kick out time. Standard varies HUGELY depending on who"s table you get sat.. you have been warned!  ;)
Of the "team" theres normally everyone there for the crack (apart from Jeff Talbot.. Jeff if you"re reading and can get a passout.. more than welcome!) and whinge about the usual suckouts haha ::)
Look forward to seeing you there

Morning all

Welcome to the up and coming league 2 game to be held this Sunday at 8pm. After John"s cracking performance in the last game we"re sat in 3rd place, so lets see how many points we can get this week :) The banter was spot on, even if you can"t find the £8 or whatever it is to play, download Blue SQ and cheer the team on from the rails.

After this weekends APAT success (love you stu) lets continue to prove that this little corner of the North east.. this glorious place we call home.. is to be taken seriously in the UK.. no.. the world of poker ;) Lets show them all hows its done...

Blue SQ have opened the tournament for registration so get on there as soon as you can.. plenty of rest over the weekend, no beer.. no sex.. or any type of enjoyment. Bin off the girlfriend or wife.. or blowup sheep or whoever on Valentines night and be fully rested and ready to go Sunday at 8pm :)

Password is the same as before.. see you there on Sunday!
