Dear Member,

The Amateur Poker Association & Tour is delighted to announce details for Season Three of its critically acclaimed tour for amateur players.

The tour will continue to be sponsored by Blue Square and will now include an Online National Championship series and National League, in addition to a complete schedule of live National Amateur Championship tournaments.

Season highlights include the five day World Amateur Championship in August, featuring Omaha, Horse and a three day No Limit Hold'em main event, and the four day European Amateur Championship in November, featuring two day Individual and International Team Championship events.

*  NATIONAL AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

Eleven National Championship events will be held in Season Three, starting with the United Kingdom Amateur Poker Championship at Grosvenor Casino, Walsall, on February 7th & 8th, starting at 2.30pm. 

The entry fee for this event is £75, and players entering will start with 10,000 chips and 45 minute blind levels.

The winner of the UK Amateur Poker Championship will win a significant cash prize, National Title, Championship Trophy & Gold Medal, in addition to a prestigious Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Champion of Champions final entry.

Online satellites will be available at Blue Square from $5.50, from Monday January 12th at 8pm, and seats will be sold directly for £75 from the APAT website on Thursday January 15th at 9pm.

*  ONLINE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The ten event season will kick off with the United Kingdom Online Poker Championship at Blue Square on Saturday January 10th at 8pm. 

The entry fee for the event is $50 + $5, and players entering will start with 10,000 chips and 12 minute blind levels.

The winner of the event will receive a significant cash prize, National Title & Gold Medal and a Grosvenor UK Poker Tour main event entry.

The top three players will receive APAT National Medals and a package to the UK Amateur Poker Championship at Walsall on February 7th & 8th.  Online Championship Medals will be presented in Walsall. 

Online satellites will be available at Blue Square on Monday January 5th and Tuesday January 6th at 8pm.  Monday"s satellite will be a $10 + $1 freezeout, while Tuesday"s will be a $5 + $0.50 rebuy.

*  ONLINE NATIONAL LEAGUE

The National League will start on February 1st and feature thirty Poker Clubs from across the United Kingdom and Ireland, competing in three Divisions online, for the title of National League Champions.  Four members of the winning Poker Club will win Grosvenor UK Poker Tour main event entries. 

With such tremendous added value on offer, in addition to a friendly, but competitive series of matches, we would encourage you to sign up for your local Poker Club via the link below today.  Clubs participating include Edinburgh, Dublin, Liverpool, Nottingham, North London and Southampton.

Due to the uncertanty in my job .Live apats are pretty a no go this year for me.I will hopefully play the scots live ,and DTD.
