Winning Start to 2009
« on: January 02, 2009, 00:40:37 AM »
So it was only a $12 180 seater on Stars but it"s $594 that will be put to good use in my bankroll.....

A nice start to trying to better 2008"s profit of $4500.

Good luck to everyone in 2009.

Blatant brag post I know but hey, I"ve had a really s**t Christmas.

Nice one sir.  A win is a win, and a blatant brag post is a blatant brag post.

You are correct on both counts.  wp that man   ;D

Oh, and hope you"re feeling much better now.

Some of us can"t afford to play at those nosebleed levels.

But still, 1st January is a good day to fit in your first MTT win of the year.

$3 MTT ($1 reg, rebuy, add on)

1st out of 671 for $320.22

NB: I know I posted this after midnight - you"ll just have to take my word for it that I won it before.

I don"t need to, I"m a pillar of the community, my word is my bond etc.

I"ll just use the high regard I"m held in to assume people will just trust me when I say that it was all done on the 1st.

Work Mondays

obv. if I play the tournament I will probably win them (maybe come in the top 3 on a  bad day). That will mean a late night and I need my beauty sleep.

Get a grip.  Going to bed at 9pm is plenty early enough for you.

Oh, and great result jacko.  I love the 180-seater SNGs on Stars.  Nice length of tournament and always one just round the corner.  Tough tournaments to win, getting through 180 runners ain"t easy.
