You missed "Dan joins Ger"s table straight into the BB again".

Sigh.

edit: thread now started in hand analysis http://www.apat.com/forum/index.php?topic=2530.0

OK just busted, question though?

And I am using this as a learning point because I may have missed something.

blinds 300/150

ME on the button with $2195.00 AQ off

raise in mid position from A to 3x standard raise. $900 with KJ off

I push all in, A has 3090.00 behind.

so $1295 to call.

with the 900 + 2195 + 300 + 150 =3545 in pot to call

2.73:1 is that pot odds to call?

considering it is over a third of stack to call

I was called and the answer given was pot odds, I am not so sure

Comments please as this will help my game

Thanks

Put this on the hand analysis board later mate, it"ll get lost on this thread.  Think he could have folded here for the record.  Pot-odds is often a euphemism for s*d it I call.

so after the blinds of 450 and his 900 and your 2195 thats 3545 and its 1295 more to call so he is getting just under 3/1 to call and he has 3090 back in this when you are playing for 10th place its a fold but in other comps its a call when your going for the top finnish position

ok proper intrigued now...3-1 odds (just under)..he has KJ..he must know he is behind a range of  an all in re-raise..so wot is the thinking / calculating required.

kj..6 cards to improve...though are the 3 jacks live (thus pair j) to the re-raise all in?..and possilbe already a king out..so maybe only 2 cards to catch?..38 cards left..16% if 6 cards? (6.25-1)???

where is NOBLE1 when u need him!!!

well that was ugly,  had two hands in 1hr 45mins  pkt 10`s and pkt 9`s  doubled up on the 9`s just after first break.  got to be the worst set of cards ive seen in a long time. just had to happen tonight lol. eventually called raise when on BB with A8 suited, other guy had AJ so that how it went.

gl to all those who qualify
