One of those days......need to take a breath
« on: January 12, 2009, 12:18:34 PM »
how come when its my QQ against A7 they always hit the  A or trip 7

then when im all in with J10 they call with J5 they hit their 5

must"ve lost around 7 or 8 all ins when im 70-80% favourite

i know variance is a bitch but not giving me one win - especially around bubble time is giving me a migrane lol

the only thing I can suggest here (as this a running theme of you feeling victimised now Shanks)....

...is to record the result of every coinflip, every 60/40, every 70/30 and every 80/20 (on excel for ease).

Do this for ones involving you and for ones involving others seperate (you just may be doom switched!!) Take care to also record the times you get your money in bad and suck out (my speciality)

after recording about 200 of each you should be reasonably close to the above percentages (allow about a 5% swing ??)

get pokertracker on free trial - 30 days no obligation
poker is like this, all of us get sucked out on,i"ve been experiencing it myself lol lol...
but as long as you are bankrolled properly to withstand the variance when the good times come back everything is rosie again  ;D
