Philip Toomer was busted by APAT Welsh Championship winner Lee mulligan

AA vs 10 9 of Lee

flop 9 10 J

Said Phil "I knew he did not have the straight"

Well, half right then........

10 on the river and Lee is up to 17,000 from  a low of 5,000..dancing chips

The Denton Mob are travelling down today from manchester (deciding from previous experience that a saturday night stop would be just too messy)

Could you please give updates on:

John "legend" Mannion (a fish)
Walter "simple as" Nisbett (a total rock)
Ian "first born" Burke (moves fluently between a variety of styles)

PS. I played yesterday and really enjoyed it. Thanks to everyone at APAT for a great day out and apologies to the guy who had his aces busted by my K9 short stacked shove (he was still going when I got KO"d)

PPS. Have to say I feel sorry for Dan. A modest fellow who trys to keep his head down, until Tikay comes along and says, "everyone at this table! This is Daniel, He won our first event and is a complete fish!!"

How are the Denton Mob doing??

Break news

Curtis Ledger 17,500

Anthony Yousefian 19,000 after being paid by TPTK with a flopped straight

Tom Gurden 24,500

Ironside 16,000

Brendan Hartnett 17,500

Alan Lake 14,000

Rich Stevenson 15,000

Compo had a bit of a stinker, flopped the straight in the BB unraised pot with  jd 9c on a   qs tc  8c flop

All the chips fly in with David Robinson holding  ac 7c, turn balnks but the river  qc gives David the nut flush and pushes Compo down to 4,000

Walter Nisbet was a no show today

other requests being checked now
