hi all,well i finished 294th and cashed for $2768
with the pay-out structure very flat i decided i would make a play with any half decent hand.
anyway BB is in seat 2 and i am in seat 6. now bear in mind i have played maybe 3 hands in the last hour and a half and kept my stack to 50k.
i raise 5k and all fold to BB who flat calls,the flop comes down all clubs with 10 being the highest. BB checks and i raise to 10k representing the flush,he thinks for a couple of long minutes then overbets me to 20k,i know he is bluffing so push all-in..he thinks long and hard then calls me.
he has A/Q with the ace being a club whether that was a good call or bad i`m screwed as the turn and river are no help to me.
not too disappointed as i made my play and was unlucky it didnt work,if it had i was pretty much up to 85k or so and i would have hung around for the rest of the day.
still,i cashed in the WSOP so a nice little touch to put on my resume.
as i had the afternoon and that to kill, i went to Planet Hollywood and entered an $80 tourney and finished 6th for $198, so all in all a good day.
and there endeth my WSOP adventure for another year
