The St.Aidans social club in Huyton is obviously the best place. It has lots of space, nice tables, a really cheap bar, 2 good snooker tables and Sky TV.

It is also around the corner from my house. It really should be there!!

When the decision is made and all the t"s are crossed and the i"s are dotted how much noticed will be have (roughly) till the event.

I know this sounds selfish but the run up till December is manic for me as i have family visiting from New Zealand and i dont think i will be too popular to say i am playing poker for a weekend when they come over to see me!!

Come on Des you know i am the life and soul of the game ;)

Perhaps we could use the Grosvenor at Yarmouth for most of the tourney then nip over the road and play the final table on the funfair, in the ghost train perhaps? My other suggestion would be to replace the APAT world Hold em tourney with a Razz competition. Any takers?

Please have a thought for overseas players like me, make the location simple, I think London is just the perfect place to hold this event in the UK.

Would be up for Paris as well tho, at the Aviation Club de France with Patrick Bruel and Bruno Fitoussi (2nd HORSE WSOP 2007) as special guests.

We make it to prime time TV 100% guaranteed 8)
World Team Championship 2011 - Silver
European Team Championship 2009 - Silver
WCOAP Main Event 2007 - Silver

Des

Now that we have got the regional, the on-line qualifiers, and the clikfest out of the way can we expect an announcement on the world champ's?

With the English event and the next set of regional and the start of the on-line tournaments there is not many weekends left.

I know you will announce it when you have finalised it but can you give us a clue (3 words, 2 syllables, film and book)

There are several people who need to finish season 1, in case we need to book a week in January off work

With all the new members who have joined on a free, will they be able to enter this event? As this is still season 1 most of us had to pay to be a member

Sorry to ask again but I am off to Vegas and could do with some spending money
;)

agree
Cant see where they"ll fit it in live.
Maybe a $150 buy in online with password so its only open to last years membership.

Thought we were getting an anouncement once the regionals were done?
