gala tour cancelled help

hi need some help . gala have cancelled their poker tour . we got a few mates together and created poker palls (pokerpalls.50webs.com)check out the idea . the main idea was to play in the gala poker tour at bristol in june £500 buyin for 2 people.so now they have kindley kicked it in to touch we are stuck . does anyone know of similar events in the south later in the year . gukpt to big  a buyin. cheers :as: ks

Hi, I had contact with their head of poker yesterday and they are hoping to hold some live events this year even though the tour is canceled. I would imagine that as the harbourside is such a great venue that they will hold one there, I for one will be asking them to.

So I should hold your horses a bit and see what happens.  

If I hear of anything from Mark then I will certainly post it immediately on  UK Sharks and here. The quote from him is " we are working on ideas for live events and I will let you know as soon as we have anything firm"

GUKPT are doing a few £500 events when the WSOP is on

see the website for details as to whether there are any in the south

The GUKPT Summer Series £500 events are Bolton (11 to 14 June) Aberdeen (18 to 21 June) and Walsall (25 to 28 June).
