Played 4 more of these stats recently, no seats im afraid. Heads up on all 4 with 2 final tables, but managed to run Ace King into flopped set twice, on an ace high board nice. These have been only 35 man fields. I feel that it is more prof to play these with say 60 runners. might be worth waiting for bigger numbers.

What u think??

swings and roundabouts.

the more players, the harder it is to win the first round, but it is then subsequently easier to win a seat in the final
the less players, the easier it is to win the first round, but it is then subsequently harder to win a seat**

Well not been running so great on these, now making final tables but no seat in a while.

Played 20
Heads up,12
Final table, 8
Minor cash, 1
Seats won, 4

Will keep going at it if I keep making final table my luck will switch an hopefully pick up some more seat for the bankroll!!

this is still an ROI of 282% kenny so its not looking too bad so far. It is possible to go 20+ games without a seat

Well thats me back from a Holiday Vegas was great.

Started off in L.A the drove to Vegas in a Mustang yes a mustang what a car that was to drive!!!!

So arrive in Vegas check into MGM Signature, go to room and it has not been cleaned since the last people, so we had back down and the say for our incovenicne they will upgrade us to the penthouse suit, NICE. We had a rather large room!!

Unfortuantly didnt play as much poker as I would have liked, manged to get two cash sessions in just $1/$2. So sit down at table, Some big stakes sitting  with like $500+ behind. I buy in for $200, after 1 orbit it notice a rather drunk guy and his girlfriend at table who both limp all the time, I decied to try play pots with them, I take $50 for the girl she plays any rag ace. I have ace queen, flop an ace, I have position I lead out hoping, she has Ace as im way ahead of of her range, so i bet 3/4 of pot she repops and I shove, she has ace 2 and I rake first pot of night. FEEEWW. So she leaves and her boyfriend still playing.

Crazy man joins table, I limp with a few small pairs and nothing happens, crazy man has played 9 of last 10 hands and loves to shove a big chunk of chips in both pre and post, he was up like $150 in 10 hands with only won showdown when he turned the nuts. So there have been a few limper and I am in late pos look at ace king I raiseto $12 and crazy man on button reraises to $32. I think  and so tempted to come over the top, but I decied I will check raise flop on a dry board so I call. Im out of position but not ideal, there is say $70 in pot, So I have $220 behind. Board comes rag rag rag, i hit nothing and dont think crazy man did either. As planned I check , he bets $90 im like WTF, seem like I dont want a call bet but could be the old double bluff. I wanted to shove but I honestly wasnt beating much or anything. I finally fold he flipped over Q, Q. I wish I hit a lonley king I would have got paid big time I think. Good fold I guess but i felt he would reraise with any2 pre in position or easy fold.

more to come later......

Listen to the cash plays episode w/ gabe thaler on pokerroad.com

In it he talks about trying to put in as many hours as he can when he feels he is running bad to try and turn the varience over.  Also, its an epically gd show and worth the listen regardless!

Well here is some more...... Jet lag finaly gone. So continuing at the same table

I make a few standard raises pre in positon I bet out 3 times when I hit nothing on board. (P.s I couldn"t hit a thing) twice I got I got checked raises, but to Two big betting asian"s, and on the 3rd one the same guy repops so I make a stand and repop and then the shove allin so I fold I started to feel I was playin bad !

So from being up I am now down $80. I decide to had $50 hoping my luck changes and I start hitting. Few hands later there is. Few limpers I am on button an raise to 12 with ace queen small and big call and 2 limpers call. As u can"t see my bets get respect at this table! So the flop is pretty raggy. It checked round to me I decide to check scared of check raise again. Turn brings nothing checked to me again so I decide to to bet 30 with ace high and the big blind shoves for $5 more, everyone folds so I had to call oh the big blind was drunk girls boyfriend. So he flips over ace 4 no pair no draw. River was a blank and I rake with better kicker. The whole table was like WTF. I"m Not complaint he must have though he had aces lol.

Nothing much happens for a few rounds but a big spat happens because some American guy tried to look at players card! He defo did I saw it. So next hand  guy in mid possition raises 2 callers I look at 99 in big blind so I call. Flop comes 9, 10, 4. Two spades. Good flop bit drawy board tho I decided to Lead out and get 2 callers. Ace comes on the turn no spade few.I tank for a bit and decide to bet 3/4 pot hoping someone hit ace, but no such luck fold fold. Feel I didn"t get max from that"s hand. Play a  few more orbits and nothing happens 3 am bed time 3 hours after I said I wold Finnish lol. So slightly up for night ok for my first taste.

I"ll type more when not using my Iphone!!
