Two New Terms
« on: February 26, 2009, 20:17:48 PM »
Two new terms and conditions added for this evening"s sale.

1)  Players need to have a Blue Square poker account.

For those who do not currently have an account, please set one up asap as we will be cross referencing against our Blue Square records 7 days prior to the event.  Please note there is no spend requirement attached to this term, but it does make sense to give our sponsor some support.

2)  Seat Transfers at face value only.

No further "percentage" deals will be allowed.  If you have purchased a seat and find that you cannot now use it, the Seat Exchange board has been made available to enable you to recoup your initial spend and ensure the seat goes to someone who will really value it.  We are not allowing any further speculative future value deals to be done.

errr, isn"t 40 minutes before sale a bit late notice?

Especially as some people might fire up their internet connection at quarter to or ten to ready for the clickfest.

EDIT: from your wording - is it okay then for people to set up an account after they have got the seat?

Additionally APAT have previously stated that it is ok for somebody to use another persons card details to pay for a seat - this is particularly handy for those who don"t play online at all - feasibly some might not even have internet connections at all.

In this case would the Blue Square account have to belong to the person the seat is for - or the person paying for it?

1) Yes, players can set up accounts up to a week prior to the event.  99% of players already have Blue Square accounts.

2) The player at the event should have the account.  We"re rarely if ever unreasonable, so we"re here to listen to anyone who can"t open an account.
