The others will be more scared of George than he of them.

Actually they were fairly quiet in the early stages. After a couple of hours I donated half my stack to Channing with AQ on Q-high board when he had KK and I never recovered.
I think those guys have an inherent advantage - I"m sure I would normally have got away from that hand only marginally damaged, but I was wondering whether he was making a move on me, whereas he was just playing his cards.

I saw both of them get lucky though, particularly when Goodwin bet on a flop that had one spade and no low cards and ended up taking the pot with a flush, showing  :2s: :3s:. The funniest hand had a board of something like  :3s: 4s 8s 6h 7s. Goodwin & another guy who was nearly out had been betting and the guy went all in for his last 2k on the river. Flush & straight possibilities everywhere and Goodwin folded  :3c: :3d: face up. The other guy tried to avoid showing but the dealer turned over his cards  kh 4h.
The other notable hand was the one where George first acquired a good stack, but I"ll leave it to him to tell that story.

If you think we had a tough table, what about this one from Day 1A?

Table Seat Player End of Level 4
Table 1
1 1 Jeff Hemmerman 12775
1 2 Andrew Clarke 11250
1 3 Reyaaz Mulla 3725
1 4 Matthew Roberts 25600
1 5 Jonathan Kalmar 27725
1 6 Matthew Mckinlay 15925
1 7 David Colclough 19725
1 8 Zachary Ford 17525
1 10 Roberto Romanello 4500

A full table of professionals. The two APATers, Matt McKinlay & Matthew Roberts, are the only ones I"ve never heard of!

That"s just showing off!
