Perhaps get some feedback from other members who were sat on the same table, live or online, someone perhaps saw something you didn"t that caused the car crash.........no, maybe you just want to get it off your chest here"s the place. post nicely though!!!

Just a quick point to the forum admin.  The code for inserting the card images doesn"t match PokerStars hand histories.  The picture cards are written as As, etc. on Stars, but if you copy and paste a hand history into this forum you have to change the J, A, K, etc., to lower case.

Might be an idea to change this so that it matches - just a suggestion.

No one else wants to post a bad-beat story, so here"s one I dished out!!

It"s a team event at the Stoke Grosvenor.  All our team are out of the main event, and we"re now in a scalping tourney - which is worth a fiver for everyone you knock out, and a point for the team.

Anyway, I"ve got about 1,200 chips - and look down to see   - which I like, obviously.  Remember - this is a scalp tournament, and there"s no points or money for lasting longer, just a point for the team for knocking someone out and a £5 for yourself.

So with the blinds at 150/300 (nice level  ), I push.  A team-mate two to my left calls.  Oh dear I thought.  The player to his left pushes with the rest of his chips, and announces "I"m going to get butt-****** here), and then another player also calls.  This isn"t exactly what I"d expected would happen after my push.

So all the aces are out, and I have a one outer (or a ridiculous str8 flush, but let"s be serious, this isn"t online...)!

I"ve hit the case King - and there"s groans, cheers, sighs and apologies.  The turn is the  , giving the fella with the aces a flush draw.  The river is the  :: and my unlikely full house takes the hand, one player is knocked out, I"ve quadrupled up - but didn"t win a scalp in that hand as I was the short-stack!

Here is a beat I put on someone at the Midland Masters at Walsall.  Early on, 4th or 5th hand maybe I am on the BB.  Middle position raises to 3x BB and all fold to me who finds pocket fives.  I call and love the flop of 2 5 8 (2 spades).  I check and raiser bets just under the pot.  I raise a decent amount and he immediately pushes all in.  I call and he turns over pocket eights for set over set.  Turn blank, river CASE FIVE.  I hit my one outer.  The other guy was sick.  Rode this luck to the final table and chopped for first and my best cash ever.  All because of the 2% shot 15 hours earlier.  Funny game this poker...
