... quite likeing this as an update!

http://www.blackbeltpoker.com/blogs/read/356303/LondonLive/Manson-Massacres-Woodfield/?Updates=1

Of course I had AA the next hand too but no takers ...

I fuller report on Black Belt Live ... but I also had no action on AA earlier ...

I also seemed to win and lose all hands with and against flushes on endlessly paired boards so the action was not too extreme ...

63,200 vs 98,400 average 1500/3000 (400) blinds ... 81 left ... 72 paid ... FTW FTW FTW.

"81 left, 72 get paid"

Can"t believe they didn"t play down to the money. That would never happen in an APAT event.  ;)

... smile

It"s a weird dynamic becuase you have two day 1"s ... hence their fear was with 39 left from day 1A was what happens if you do run the clock to 36 runners ... and then more are eliminated the next day ... who do you pay for 72nd etc ...

So day 1A was stopped 41 mins early ...

The plus side is that it is a midday kick off ... so an early bath means little of Sunday lost ... I can shopping ... that said much better to go shopping with £20k for the win ... plus another £20 for my bet on myself to win it!!

So I guess the same issue might occur for the Worlds ...

Anyway AJ for the win ...

Held to Ranson

In what was like an oompa-loompa civil war, two shorties went into battle as fellow chip-strugglers Denison Ranson and Louis Manson (yes, Manson versus Ranson) locked horns. It was the latter who had far and the way of the best of it, dominating like Phil Taylor at the ockey with As-Ah versus Ad-6d. There was a minor sweat on the turn of a 9s-Th-9c-6h, but the 8h river sealed Ranson"s fate. Mason now up to 175,000.
