Just knocked out of Titan $10k guaranteed at around 250th from 1,200  :(

All in on flop with flush draw, open ended straight draw & overcard to the flop
...ran into AA of course and bricked my outs. 50p in the post.

Only got two tables loaded now so will try concentrate on the Pokerstars tourney to make the money  :D

lol, ach well that"s me out in 75th place...

Playing pretty recklessly and raising a lot with sub-par holdings to take blinds/antes. Got in in with 78os vs KQos on a 3Q38 board... guy checked flop and when he lead out on 8 I thought he was at it as he always bets any pot not bet into, oh well GG...

... so glad to be out of the sweltering heat of London ... about 8 degrees cooler at 23 C in Southern Scotland ... looks like a poker drought until Sunday ...

Last train to Scotland reaches Preston where one crew leaves and errr no new crew arrives ...

End result is a £40 taxi from Carlisle on Virgin and home at 12.45am ...

Question to taxi driver - how often does this happen? A : Every night ... GENIUS.

Interesting to do the poker predictions for the world series ... picked ten ... still massively odds against to get one to the final table ...

... shopping today ... here are my thoughts on shopping ... you don"t win much ... you don"t lose much ...

Actually sometimes you lose really heavily ... it"s a disaster in the making ... how can I escape?

Looking at the International Club results for last night - they managed 77 runners for their £200 F/O - shame to miss this.

Preston to Scotland in a taxi for £40??   It costs me almost that much from Birmingham to Worcester, and that"s only 20 miles and half hour drive.

Taxi was only from Carlisle - they found a driver in the end - only an hour waiting in Preston ...

My house is just past Gretna Green ... so not far into Scotland ...

Random Aside:

I was  thinking about the time someone cold called me and went onto say - I can save you 10% on your electricity, 10% on your gas and 10% on your water charges ... that"s a 30% saving ... GENIUS!

Not sure why this popped into my head ... but it"s a fond memory ...
