managed to get a seat for the omaha comp in aug , is this the game where u get 4 cards to start with 2 up and 2 down

for me this is the game where I see how fast I can get rid of 10,000 chips. I prefer limit Omaha - my chips last longer :)

Going to be fun, if nothing else!!

Okay this may sound a stupid question and will clearly show my complete naivety at playing this game live, but I"m assuming you can just announce a "Pot" bet and the dealer will confirm the amount, or do you need to know yourself ?

Just say pot, and the dealer will work it out for you. Annoying that you can do this in PL but not in NL.
