Okay this may sound a stupid question and will clearly show my complete naivety at playing this game live, but I"m assuming you can just announce a "Pot" bet and the dealer will confirm the amount, or do you need to know yourself ?

And if you are calling a bet then the pot limit raise is after you have added the amount of the call.

If u say pot- the dealer will tell u how much

Then you try not to look to shocked when you realise that was way more than you had expeted it to be.....
