Been advised that St Mary"s Street is the best bet - loads of pubs to choose from.  Then if we"re after a club, then there"s Oceania.

How does that sound?

Oceana in Notts is dirt cheap and full of cheesey music.

Oceana in Brighton is dirt cheap and full of cheesey music.

LETS GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

The other ones I"ve been to are exactly the same!!!

:D

Pubs... On a friday, LLoyds Bar and Varsity and probably the best bet......

They are situated on Greyfriars road, in between Oceana........... and Tiger Tiger..(PS . Both of which you will need a COLLAR AND SHOES or u will not b allowed in...be warned !!)

Revolution is pub/club style and is also nearby,........

Also, as mentioned, St Mary"s st han numerous cheap bars, prince of wales, walkabout etc...... Trendy bars, Cocktail bars etc......... but advise lloyds and varsity if the plan is getting smashed....... ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

There should be numerous Cardiff poker players and APAT members out and about so feel free to BUY US DRINKS as we all have issues with alcoholism!!!.... HOPE THIS HELPS .... Enjoy !

Right someone with some sense needs to arrange a meeting time/place.

Thats not me I have no sense.

I hope no one is allergic to Jagerbombs?

Personal preference for clubbing would be Tiger Tiger not Oceana!

P.s. When i say clubbing i mean me standing at the bar drinking not actually talking to anyone or dancing!

If we need somewhere to start off - we just need a big-ish pub on St Mary"s.

There"s a Walkabout that might do for starters before we go off somewhere else?

Plans changed coming down Friday with Son of Duke. Will partake of a few possibly then tuck up early for the challenge on Saturday (Notice I didn"t mention Sunday).

I am travelling up on the friday with girlfriend and a couple of her mates. I also have some old uni mates who have moved to Cardiff so we are going to have a big night out. Think we are going to head around the town and then on to liquid. 8 drinks free for £10 entry. Happy days! Should be a good night. Let me know if your keen! Excellent preperation for trying to defend my title!  ;D

I might accidently take a long route up to Cardiff, you never know what might happen if they all get a bit horney!  ;D

Though the fact that I drive a Nissan Micra means space is a bit limited!

I"m the one who recommended St Mary"s street to Kin so blame me if it"s dead but it won"t be.

Im down on the friday but will still be hungover from night before so probably won"t be out for a sesh but I will more than surely be up for meeting up with some old faces for a pint or 2. Kin has my number so I"ll see where you lot are and meet up with you. See you then, and beware, it doesn"t take a hell of a lot of persuasion to get me on the sesh!

See you there. KP/Gareth
