A Day At The Races
« on: March 28, 2009, 11:38:39 AM »
We clearly have a large number of APAT members that enjoy their horse racing.

I was wondering what the level of interest would be to arranging meeting up for a days racing.  It could be tied into an APAT event if that was possible.  Not the easiest thing to coordinate, but for example.

WCOAP in August finishes on Sunday 30th, there is racing on the Bank Holiday Monday at  Warwick and Huntingdon, which seem the closest to Nottingham.

Alternatively, we could just pick a meeting with some good racing and go for that.

First of all though, I need to see whether there is any interest, so please post your comments.

Count me in, but not the Bank Holiday. If there is enough interest then a course central to every one. Like Pontefract, Doncaster, Beverley, York, also I supposed it will have to be a Saturday but I will take a day off work so a Friday would be good for me. Would be good if this could happen

Not everyone reads this section Leigh. If we can sort out a meeting maybe we could post it on the general poker thread.Or even better change the name of this section to .General Sports Betting and Fantasy Sports.
