Name the best ten Omaha books!

Not that I know the answer just that I want to read them.

learn the hard way!

Why would you want to do that when you can take the shortcut from listening to people who"ve learnt the hard way for you?

Only Omaha book i ever read flicked through is "Pot-Limit Omaha Poker: The Big Play Strategy" by Jeff Hwang.

Also has sections on Limit and PL Hi/Lo Split.

Seems to be well rated on 2+2 forums.

personal satisfaction for one, conflicting advice from books can be worse than never reading one imo. + There are only about 6 players in the world whos book would be worth reading anyway and none of them have written one.
Trawling 2+2 hh`s etc would be a far better guide imo. I have some truly awful hands saved from a degen session maybe i should post 1 or 2 here for ridicule, the mistakes are so obv though im not sure we can learn anything from them.

This is a good reason.

I would never advocate completely learning how to play from books, I"d think of it more as a starting point. Doing your own thinking and analysis on whatever has been written.

Essentially like the book is one side of an argument and you provide the other, the HH"s on 2+2 are basically the same way of learning, but if they are current then you might get a bit more interaction rather than the static argument in the books.

Books still have their place though.

As per the conflictin info, thats the best thing about books, ie you take the best/most relavent info from each.

Ultimatly depends on your own personal learning style at end of the day, everyone learns differently and to diff levels. mine seems to be stuck on, "so you get 4 cards in omaha do you?"
