« on: April 26, 2009, 21:11:23 PM »
Playing a DS Hyper Turbo to Sunday Million (6 max)

Down to four players (Top 3 get seat, 4th gets $75)

I play this hand :-

Seat 1: KJB11 (460 in chips)
Seat 3: desiree777 (1440 in chips)
Seat 4: nuizizi (630 in chips)
Seat 6: Chipaccrual (470 in chips)
KJB11: posts the ante 20
desiree777: posts the ante 20
nuizizi: posts the ante 20
Chipaccrual: posts the ante 20
nuizizi: posts small blind 50
Chipaccrual: posts big blind 100
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Chipaccrual [8s 9c]
KJB11: raises 340 to 440 and is all-in
desiree777: folds
nuizizi: folds
Chipaccrual: calls 340
*** FLOP *** [js 4c 6h]
*** TURN *** [js 4c 6h]

*** RIVER *** [js 4c 6h td] [6d]
*** SHOW DOWN ***
Chipaccrual: shows [8s 9c] (a pair of Sixes)
KJB11: shows [jc jh] (a full house, Jacks full of Sixes)
KJB11 collected 1010 from pot

So, 10 chips left.

Dealt to Chipaccrual [jd qs]
Board [qh 8d 9c  :3c:  :3s:]
Seat 6: Chipaccrual (small blind) showed [jd qs] and won (40) with two pair, Queens and Threes

Dealt to Chipaccrual [6h 8d]
Board [8h 6c ts  :2h: 6s]
Seat 6: Chipaccrual (button) showed [6h 8d] and won (160) with a full house, Sixes full of Eights

Dealt to Chipaccrual [5d 9d]
Board [6d  :2h: 9c 4s 9s]
Seat 6: Chipaccrual showed [5d 9d] and won (520) with three of a kind, Nines

So from 10 chips to 520 chips doing absolutely nothing.  And finally, this hand :-

Table "157129704 1" 6-max Seat #3 is the button
Seat 1: KJB11 (610 in chips)
Seat 3: desiree777 (1220 in chips)
Seat 4: nuizizi (650 in chips)
Seat 6: Chipaccrual (520 in chips)
KJB11: posts the ante 40

nuizizi: posts the ante 40
Chipaccrual: posts the ante 40
nuizizi: posts small blind 100
Chipaccrual: posts big blind 200
*** HOLE CARDS ***
Dealt to Chipaccrual [ac ad]
KJB11: folds
desiree777: folds
nuizizi: raises 200 to 400
Chipaccrual: raises 80 to 480 and is all-in
nuizizi: calls 80
*** FLOP *** [qh 7d 8h]
*** TURN *** [qh 7d 8h] [4s]

*** SHOW DOWN ***
nuizizi: shows [5h 9d] (a straight, Five to Nine)

Now how"s that for building up your hopes and dreams and then beating you over the head.  ;D

I know, it was the first decision I had to make.  Do I call his raise when I"m holding aces ?

And I got it wrong at a crucial point in the tournament.  Adrenalin was pumping, I didn"t think it through.

I only have myself to blame.   ;D
