Date 21:41 23/04/2009
Amount £75.00
Description 2009 Irish Amateur Poker Championship
Payment Reference Rob Swindells
Transaction ID 33813391

sigh....just sigh

It seems everyone has had a shocker here though.

I now feel the pain of all those clickfesters who have complained about the site crashing, the payment being refused, etc.

I had all that and more,

including a 10 minute wait to get from the payment link on the homepage to the payment stage. My first card was refused (for the first time ever)...I nearly gave up

My 100% clickfest record is in danger here >:(

gl everyone else though

Guys,

The site was running ridiculously slow for everyone, so as long as you kept trying to get in, then you should stand as much chance of getting a seat as anyone else.

Not ideal, but technology rarely is.

Hope you all make it.   ;D

With the payment element refusing my card I have no other way to get in now. Frustrating to say the least especially as I know how much is in that account !!

Looks like I"ll be missing Dublin then, good luck to everyone else.

Sorry guys, we experienced technical problems like I"ve never seen before at APAT.  This started exactly at 9pm and stopped pretty much at 9.40pm.  The seats are still on sale, so anyone who has purchased to date, will have a seat.  If your card has failed then stop trying to repurchase.  I will speak to the payment provider about these tomorrow and have them in order of attempted seat purchase.  I am very willing to allocate seats against those failed payments and send you a payment link in 48 hours time, when your card should be okay to use again.  I will publish the list of successful entrants at 11pm and the list of people who have been allocated a seat, subject to payment.

Apologies again.

Des.

payment link is still open, does this mean all seats are not sold yet?
