cheers guys,

Went out with this hand was on about 92000 in big blind, say 11x big blind, big stack with over 300000, makes a standard raise, I have  :2s: 5s, I think he is stealing cause at this point for last half our I was pretty card dead and could hardly even defned my blind. So I decide to shove lots in pot with ante etc. They call with ace queen they pair there queen, but 2 spades on flop and I miss and out!.

I seem to do well in stars structure but it starting to get to me that you make a deep run like that and you only get a small return because they pay out so many people..

Thanks to railers

Couldn"t agree with this more.  Last couple of weeks I"ve been playing a lot of the stars big runner events and went deep in a reasonable amount (on average about 1 comp per night - entered about 7/8) but always seemed to end up getting busted somewhere about 30th.  Very frustrating

this is the main reason why i started playing on full tilt more, it is a massive pain to get so far, yet not get much of a return on your placing. It was killing my varience, hence the switch over.

it has worked, with a first and a couple of 2nds in mtt"s this year, and hopefully more to come!

wp on the cash though
