now i reckon the call of $5 on the turn was probably the wrong call but with any ace or ten to give me a straight and any diamond for king high flush draws i thought it wasnt too bad (from a gambling point of view) but i know i wasnt get the right price to call

had possible 9 diamond outs plus 4 straight draw outs (is that right as i cant double count the face diamonds) for the win - 13 outs by the turn card point it was $5 to win $15  (ish)

the river all in was dumb - especially as i had nothing and i knew the villain would be unlikely to fold if he hit any part ofthe flop or high pocket pairs

be gentle on comments as im still learning this game and tbh it was just an experiment into playing the game

I think its generally a pretty good line to be taking all the way down to the river.  Once he leads pot on the turn and then checks when the harmless  :2h: comes on the river then I just dnt think he his c/folding.  It looks like u r drawing the whole way and not too likey u have a k1034 hand w/ ur call p/f.  Sometimes u just gta give up in omaha when u miss ur draws.

if i,ve added up ok lol u are getting 2to1 on the turn , which is ok because your 6to4 to improve [1.5to1]
i"d put him on 2 pair or a set on the turn - the river bet is a tad ambitious [as long as u learn from mistake its ok,break the betting down and he is not going to be forced to lay much down for 10$ at this buy in]

have u got a calc? - http://www.cardplayer.com/poker_odds/omaha

if i was u i"d cover the result of the hands , even post it street by street so that you get better feedback .. knowing the result can influence replies ..

For me this is def a fold p/f.  Dnt think theres much value in limping in ep to set mine in plo as they dnt carry the same value as in Holdem.  This game looks v limp based so I would b tightening my range a lot and not getting too out of line.

As played, pretty standard.

hand 1 - 0k till the turn - gotta back down then as your not even drawing to the nut flush - he could easily have the rag Ad 2d - and that alone will keep villain in the hand at these levels

hand 2 - auto fold pre.

9 handed - both are pre folds in my tight as a ducks ass opinion.
there is good book by bob ciaffone which should give you a really good grounding

worth a tenner if your serious about getting started.

good luck
