Well, Luky and Chip thought it was about time to broaden our horizons, so we have set our sights on the EPT.
Not wishing to get ahead of ourselves, the target was a low one to begin with.
We both entered the EPT Starter Weekly Final ($70+$7) on PokerStars tonight. Up for grabs were 18 x $650 Packages (£330 Tourney entry, $100 credit, PokerStars Goody Bag) and the chance to play at The Vic on Friday 18th September.
It started off with mixed fortunes.
Chip managed to reduce his 1500 starting stack to 300, whilst Luky was looking good on 4k.
The tide turned however, and with approx 30 player left, Chip was one of the leaders and Luky sat above average stack.
As the players remaining dragged towards 18, Luky got involved in a hand that saw him reduced to 2k and shortstack. 21 players left and he shoves with AQ up against KT and gets his double up.
This was enough to see him through.
So, Luky and Chip are off to The Vic later in the month to play a small EPT tournament.
Should be a good laugh though, will keep you posted.
