I"m still in shock. 6.7k when the madness started, 2nd place had 1.7k, two were less than 1k. V SIK!

... very unlucky ...

To lose these four hands in a row is about 1 in 108 ... a bit more likely than losing 7 races in a row ... (1 in 128).

What happened next time you got your chips in the middle?

Or have you given up for good?

Not played anymore.  It was the last of a DS session this afternoon.

6 Played
4 HU
2 FT
1 Minor Cash to show for the effort

108/1, wow.  Nothing you can do about it, just one of those things.

It"s mentally tough though as the inference is that you have to play a mammoth amount of poker for these to level out, if you are on the wrong end of these.

I am in the final stages of setting up my recruitment business - so fairly shortly it looks like much less poker for me - blaze of glory in Nottingham?

Maybe you get the flip side then?

Back from DTD, and one of us had a good weekend of poker playing.

So pleased for Neil finishing 15th in the Main Event.  He"s a top bloke and deserves the ranking points and recognition for getting through that quality a field.

Was it that obvious ?

Okay, truth is, I thought it might boost his confidence to get him back to winning ways with our joint bankroll.

He"s wasted four days this week playing some events at DTD with his own money and his own gain.

Maybe now he can focus on earning me some cash.   ;)

A top fellow too, and extremely unlucky to go out 15th.  Took his beat like a proper man though.

Thanks for all of your help over the w/e Leigh, you add a huge amount to the events.

;)

I think it"ll be at least a couple of days before I hit the DSs again. Here"s hoping I can turn the recent run of FTs into Seats.

With the WCOOP series currently happening on PokerStars, we are starved of our usual Sunday Million Double Shootouts.

So, in their place they have been running WCOOP 11 DS"s.  Slightly more expensive at $17, but with two $530 seats up top, they make for a similar structure.

Played = 12
HU = 6
FT = 4
Seats = 1

Profit = $332
ROI = 167%

Should have been a 2nd seat last night, but I had two players on the final table that knew A4 offsuit was the nuts, and no one had bothered to tell me.   Sigh
