As my mother has emigrated to Spain and taken up residencia there, including joining the Pensionista Club which entitles her to the same benefits as a Spanish National, am I eligible to throw my hat into the ring for the Spanish team?

Just a thought as it seemed to work in football circles?

Do we have any qualification criteria?
