The 2009 European Team Amateur Poker Championship will take place at the G Casino Luton on November 19th & 20th, followed by the European Individual Amateur Poker Championship on November 21st & 22nd.
There will be a maximum of 16 countries taking part in the event and it is expected that the following countries will be participating:-
Austria
Belgium
England
France
Germany
Hungary
Ireland - defending Champions
Italy
Netherlands
Norway
Portugal
Russia
Scotland
Spain
Sweden
Wales
Each country will feature four playing members and a non playing Captain, all of whom will also receive an option to enter the European Individual Amateur Poker Championship following the conclusion of the Team Championship. The structure for the event will be announced in due course, but it is not expected to differ greatly from
last year"s structure.
