It took some finding, not the simplest of websites to get around.

Am I allowed to say that ?     ;D

Here at DTD, the place is pretty packed. Too many APATers to mention, but Des is in charge of updates on Sky Poker, so get on there to rail and comment.

Good luck all.

Well had a grand time today, Helen railing and I was creating some fun table banter, finally went out with my pocket Queens open shoving pre called by Ace King.

King flopped.

Did have the honour of taking out the first player, his stack was crippled and left him with 900 which he shove, I called with Ace Jack and he showed pocket 8"s.

Get to the River needing to hit an Ace, a Jack or a Five to make a straight.

I tell him I have LOADS of outs and promptly hit the 5.

Ahem.

terrific tourney....bit gutted to go out on the VERY LAST HAND of day one though !
2 hands earlier, I see the buttons all-in shove as a steal. I have a similar 17k stack and with the average at 37k and facing a drive back here tomorrow with 6 bb"s, a call with my A-10 clubs isn"t too difficult. He shows A-8.....but rivers his 3-outer to leave me with 900 chips.
I doubled twice to get to 8300 before exiting with K-9 vs A-2.
As always, great to see such a good APAT turnout here and to catch up with friends old and new. Good Luck to you all tomorrow.

Just thought I"d bok myself by saying I"m still in. Super-short on 31k but anything can happen.

Really pleased with how I played yesterday regardless, while mostly card dead.

Great tourny - hope I"m there for more than 10 mins today...

An interesting tournament with a heck of a range of abilities - from complete novice online qualifiers in their first live tourney to seasoned pro"s and even a bracelet holder!!

Had a great run and pushed up to around 40k, but then had a tale of two crashes.....  in a battle of the blinds, ran AK into QT on a AKJ flop and lost more then half my stack. Then when around 12 BBs, open shoved with AK and was called by KQ..... of course the first card out was a Q.

Good to see so many APATers there - was like an APAT away-day!!
