At the first break (add-on).

40 Entries
63 Rebuys
32 Addons

So, 4 packages and $75 for 5th place up for grabs to the 38 remaining players.

Good luck all.

Congratulations to the four players who have won their seat to Edinburgh tonight :-

eastaway - Peter Easy
mattblue - Matt McKinlay
PokerJapes - JP Round
TheDukeOfHazard - Allan Deuchars

And very unlucky to chuck2003 who went out on the bubble for $75.

How quick are you with these results??  ;D

and chuck was v v v unluckly esp as I flopped a str8 flush on the bubble blind v blind in an unraised pot. I could only min raise on the river as I was shaking too much to type anything else and risk folding by mistake.

See you in Edinburgh. Hope Chuck gets a seat s/he deserves one

This calls for a triple smiley  :) :) :)

Yes - it was a bit unfortunate to flop that straight. I should have just called the river though.
Will be having a go at the credit card shuffle tonight...

Thanks for quick reply Leigh re starting times.

I was already intending to stay until Monday whether I"m still in on the Sunday or just watching/supporting/propping up the bar.

Congrats to all last nights qualifiers.

Can"t find anything online, but I recall from last year that Sunday night was deepstack night at the Gala Maybury.

Don"t get too excited though, their idea of deepstack was 3k chips and it was self dealt.  I recall donking chips off in first five minutes and playing a tighty sit n go instead.

If any locals have more details, would be interested to know.

Leigh,
Currently at the Maybury on a Sunday night is a very Juicy £10 rebuy.

They may change this knowing who is appearing from APAT.   :D :D

Re: Scottish Amateur Poker Championship - Player List
« Reply #101 on: June 22, 2009, 22:41:25 PM »

Here is the final player list for the 2009 Scottish Amateur Poker Championship, being played at the Gala Maybury Casino, Edinburgh on July 18th & 19th.

There wasn"t space for every player who attempted to get in, so seats were allocated strictly on a first come first served basis.  Entries were pre-authorised, so if your name does not appear on the list below, your pre-authorisation will be cancelled.

PLAYER LIST

Raymond Crowe
Richard Rudling-Smith
Rob Swindells - Sunday Warm Up Runner Up
Robert Burke
Robert Kirkwood
Ross Johnson

Hi all,

Edinburgh will be my first Apat event - just want to check if I have it right that the tourney will start at 2.30pm?

how many levels are played on the first day taking as this is the smallest of the championship events, and is the start on sunday also 2.30pm?

Thanks

Hi Michael,  We"ll play down to around 25 players on day one, which will be at around 1am.  Sunday will start at 2.30pm also.
